Openings

[November 12 2012] We are always looking for talented researchers and students to join our group. Self-motivated applicants with backgrounds in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics and applied physics, and applied mathematics are highly preferred.

Positions are available for post-doctoral fellows and graduate students. Interested undergraduate students are also welcome to join the lab for research credit and/or paid interns.

For students who are interested in the CSC scholarship from China (http://en.csc.edu.cn/), please contact me well before the deadline to make sure that paperwork can be finished in time.

Our group also welcomes thesis-based Master students. We have a quite a few project topics that can either give you a flavor of what research is like, or help you build your resume. Although funding (research assistantship) is generally not provided for Master students, exceptions can be made for exceptional individuals.

For inquiries, please contact Dr. Xiaoguang Liu at lxgliu@ucdavis.edu. I may not be able to reply to these emails, but I do make sure that I read each and every one of them. I also suggest potential applicants contact other professors in our department.
