Openings

[02Nov2011] We are looking for talented researchers and students to work on a few projects related to RF-MEMS enabled tunable RF/Microwave and Millimeter-wave devices. Self-motivated applicants with backgrounds in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics and applied physics, and applied mathematics are highly preferred.

Positions are available for post-doctoral fellows and graduate students. Interested undergraduate students are also welcome to join the lab for research credit and/or paid interns.

Dr. Xiaoguang “Leo” Liu received his B.S. degree from Zhejiang University, China in 2004 and his Ph.D. degree from Purdue University in 2010. He was a post-doctoral researcher at Purdue University before joining UC Davis. He has extensive experience with RF-MEMS design, fabrication and characterization. He has published over 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. As a student, he received the graduate research fellowship from IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society in 2009.
